PRINTING at J & J
Media (Paper/CANVAS) Types
J & J Digital uses professional quality archival photographic papers and inks to produce exceptional long-lasting prints.
Our standard paper is Lexjet's Sunset Photo eSatin, a premium-quality, resin-coated inkjet photo paper that professional photographers rave about. The slightly textured surface of our satin paper doesn’t show fingerprints or reflect glare like glossy papers. Customers feel a thicker, heavier and more durable print than mass-market injet photo papers.
LexJet Sunset Photo Metallic Paper represents a breakthrough for inkjet photo papers, producing stunning prints that previously could be output only in a darkroom. The metallic, high-gloss surface results in prints that are sharp, vibrant, and exceptionally rich-looking. This paper provides the perfect way to make portraits, commercial display prints, and competition prints that stand out from the others.
Canvas prints are made on Lexjet Sunset Reserve Matte Canvas which is an acid-free, pH-neutral media ideal for stunning image reproduction. We prepare your image by mirroring all four the edges of the image for stretching the print onto wooden frames to give a perfect finished look. The print is protected by coating with Sunset Satin Coating, a non-yellowing, fast-drying, water-based acrylic coating that adds a tough, flexible layer of protection and a soft luster finish to inkjet prints on canvas. Sunset Gloss Coating contains UV inhibitors for maximum protection against lighting-induced fading. The satin finish produces a subtle, natural-looking sheen with minimal risk of glare. All work is carefully hand-crafted by J&J Digital to the highest standards.
J & J uses professional Crescent Select matboards which are made of alpha-cellulose (wood pulp) fibers that have been chemically treated to eliminate the acids and lignins that can degrade your artwork and matboard. Crescent Select is ideal for fine art prints, limited editions, documents, and photos.
